A seasoned public relations professional with Pan-China experience, Winnie brings with her a unique mix of public relations and journalist knowledge in providing strategic counsel to her clienteles. Her forte lies in her profound understanding of the IT industry, product marketing, media relations and professional writing capabilities.
In her capacity as Vice President, Greater China and previously general manager of Waggener Edstrom Worldwide China, Winnie excels in achieving results exceeding client expectation, building a dynamic workplace with high morale as well as driving business development,. Prior to joining Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, Winnie was senior reporter at Computerworld Hong Kong, the leading newspaper for IT decision makers and managers in the territory. Winnie has interviewed a broad array of C-level executives from industry leaders including Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Computer Associates, VERITAS, Sybase, Borland/Inprise and Silicon Graphics.
Before embarking on her career in journalism, Winnie worked in the technology practice at Hill and Knowlton Hong Kong, servicing a vast array of technology companies, including high-profile accounts like Microsoft, Compaq, Intel, AMD and HP.
Winnie received an MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and completed her undergraduate studies at the Baptist University, earning a BA in translation. She is well-versed in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
