Michael Bigelow
Chief Operations Officer
Michael Bigelow, Waggener Edstrom Worldwide’s chief operating officer (COO), is responsible for leading the agency’s overall strategic planning efforts. He brings more than 25 years of business counsel experience to companies across multiple industries, including technology, construction, manufacturing and wholesale distribution, as well as professional sports teams and professional services organizations.
Before taking on the role of COO, Michael served as the agency’s chief financial officer for several years, laying a foundation of solid business practices and helping the agency grow from fewer than 100 employees to a global group of over 800.
Michael also plays a key role in driving the agency’s corporate responsibility efforts and aiding the agency’s environmental and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Before joining Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, Michael was a partner at KPMG LLP, serving in the firm’s Portland, Ore.; Orlando, Fla.; and New York executive offices.
Michael has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Gannon University in Erie, Pa. He is a certified public accountant.
