Client Development Director, APAC

Based in Singapore, Meilin joined Waggener Edstrom in 2009 after more than 12 years experience in regional corporate and marketing communications. She is responsible for growing the agency’s portfolio of clients across Asia Pacific. Meilin has a strong background in both communications consulting and business development through her work with global and regional agencies as well as in-house roles. Meilin has worked with clients across various industries such as card payment solution, business technology and hospitality. Her clients have included Visa Inc, American Express, Cisco Systems, Ericsson, IHG and Amadeus.

Meilin was previously with Lewis PR where she headed the Corporate Practice and managed a portfolio of regional clients that included DOCOMO interTouch, Hitachi and GuestLogix. Prior to that, she spent three years with American Express where she strategically marketed a suite of commercial payment technologies and solutions to MNCs such as Daimler, Credit Suisse and UBS. She also founded Graffiti Communications in 2002, an independent PR consultancy, that hailed globally recognized brands such as Levi Strauss as clients.

Meilin holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Kent and is an active supporter of humanitarian campaigns, especially in the areas of education and medical care for children and youths.
