Managing Director, India

Madhuri has recently been appointed to the position of Managing Director of Waggener Edstrom India to further expand WE’s footprint into that critical global market. She is based in Mumbai.
She comes with over 20 years of marketing and communications experience. She has been in various leadership roles with the Text 100 Public Relations group over the last 12 years where she was instrumental for setting up and heading their operations in Mumbai for about seven years. Thereafter, she started up Text 100, GRO (Global Resource Optimization), headed Context Analytics India (Text100 groups research and analytics company), and was the Managing Director of Vox PR, India. Context Analytics and Vox PR are both whole owned subsidiaries of Text 100 International.
Her prior roles include those with Sampark Corporate Communications as Senior Associate responsible for servicing prominent ITC cigarette brands, Tetrapak, Max Touch (now Hutch) and Videocon, Senior Manager Corporate Communications at Gati, Public Relations Manager at Channel ATN and Marketing Communications Manager at SMILES Modeling Agency.  She has also earlier held positions in market research and event marketing.
Madhuri is a first class graduate in English Literature from St.Xavier’s College in Mumbai with autonomous honors ‘A’ certificates in English Literature and Psychology.
