Cindy joined Waggener Edstrom in 2010, bringing over 15 years experience in communications in Asia. Cindy has led successful communications initiatives for many of the world’s leading brands across many industries ranging from financial and professional services, healthcare, IT, logistics to manufacturing and telecommunications.

Cindy began her career with the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs and subsequently Singapore Economic Development Board and Singapore International Foundation, developing programs to foster better relations with external stakeholders and economic development. This included an assignment in China.

With experience in China, Hong Kong and Singapore, Cindy has experience in providing strategic counsel on reputation management, positioning and messaging, thought leadership campaign planning, issue management and media relations. She has worked with global brands such as AXA, Boeing, Banco Santander, Barclays Wealth, Blackberry (Research in Motion), Bureau Veritas, Citigroup, DHL, GE Healthcare, Jones Day, Pfizer, Prudential, Rothschild Asset Management, Siemens Medical Devices, Sun Microsystems and UPS.

Cindy was previously with a multinational public relations agency where she developed and led the agency’s corporate and technology practices.

Cindy graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in information science. She is fluent in English and with working knowledge of Mandarin and Spanish.
